SoundOut Review — “Got Me Beggin’”

I had the opportunity to have my 1st track, “Got Me Beggin’”, from the album ‘The Piano Lesson - EP’ to be reviewed by listeners on the music review website, SoundOut. Receiving overall positive reviews & an above average rating within it’s genre, it resonated with the 25-34 y/o age bracket. A few tracks by well known artists rating similar in Market Potential include “Motivation” by Kelly Rowland ft. Lil Wayne, “Down For Whatever” by Kelly Rowland & “Dedication To My Ex” by Lloyd ft. André 3000.

Here are a few of the anonymous reviews:

Female (35-44 y/o)

This is an excellent rap song. This male artist put his words together well and they blended well within this base sound of music. It has very catchy sounds and sends one off into the dance floor. Excellent performance and has a professional touch … the music will go far, as to, will this male artist. This music has a unique appealling catch to it and one for all generations to follow and dance to. It has very lively sounds and gives one a good feeling. The song and the music are very impressive.”

F (35-44)

This song has good energy that the the artist gives off from the very beginning. The rapping style is clever and unique and fun. I feel that the artist has true enjoyment for the music and the performance.”

M (25-34)

I am not a fan of this style of music at all. That said this is actually somewhat enjoyable of a track. The vocals are good for the genre, and the vocals flow really well. There is some hit potential here … The instruments do their job, but aren’t particularly compelling to me. Good harmony in the chorus.”

M (25-34)

“Good beat and tempo in song. It has all the necessary highs and lows to it. Nice smooth build ups to different phrases in song. On top of that, background voices enter song at right moment, blending in well. All voices involved shared same beat that mix well to give right feel.”
