"[Tuan X's] latest body of work, "A Tale of Two Cities" ... is an array of sweeping poetic bars and heartfelt content that any Hip-Hop purist will love and respect."

I met this CrazyDopetastic™ singer from Augusta, GA named Shakia Chanel while at the SXSW music festival in Austin, TX. She sang, I loved it, I gave her my info & invited her to record with me (as I bring my studio wherever I go). We recorded a few tracks, here is the first of hopefully more to come. Leave a thumbs up if you’d like to hear more music from me & Shakia. Don’t forget to hit that subscribe button too!

Come & gone, gone & come again

You told me you loved me
All the memories
They’ve come & gone
And gone & come again
I told you I loved you
All the words
Have gone & come
And come & gone again

We were gonna marry in Paris
Underneath the moon lit
Time took a tole on our souls
Bore a hole in the rose of our gold
We were jewelry, something precious
Something timeless like a neckless
Swiped “True Love” off of my checklist
Shit.. when change came so did feelings too
We were so in love when the feelings grew
Your attitude did a 180
Now I look at you like “Who is you?”
You ain’t the one I fell in love with
You not the one I used to ride for
You not the one I woulda died for
Glad you out my life though
Needed breathing space and a healing place
Fell in love in this new escape
Making home in this new estate
We even finna get matching plates
I feel home in this newer place
I feel whole in this newer grace
Got me feelin’ the bluest day
Even when the world’s dark & grey but..

You told me you loved me
All the memories
Have come & gone
And gone & come again.. yea

You told me you loved me
All the memories
They’ve come & gone
And gone & come again
I told you I loved you
All the words
Have gone & come
And come & gone again

Running Up 4 World Trade Center For Cancer Research

image

On Thursday, April 3, I will participate in Runyon Up - the first charitable stair climb to be held at 4 World Trade Center. I’ll climb the stairs to the 72nd or 54th Floor (or maybe I’ll take the elevator!) and enjoy the stunning views from this new icon of the Manhattan skyline.

100% of the money I raise will be used by the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation to fund innovative research by today’s most brilliant young scientists, who are working hard to find the causes and cures for all types of cancer.

Please make a donation that supports my climb.

You can choose the amount you want to give - all donations are gratefully received! All non-anonymous donators will receive a free digital copy of my album ‘A Tale Of Two Cities - EP’ as a thank you for the support.

This means a lot! Philanthropy is the backbone of my life & career. I had my first Fan Appreciation Party earlier this year & donated all profits to #mentalhealth research. Thanks to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation for acknowledging me & Melly B.’s organization!
